An item dated London the 12th reported that the British steamship Wayfarer of 9.000 tons was torpedoed off the Scillies but towed back to Queenstown. Built in 1903 was she property of the Charente Steamship Co. Ltd. A second tiding received from Liverpool reported that she was stranded near Queenstown.
