The building of the Dutch bark ships Provincie Groningen and Prins Hendrik at Amsterdam, Netherlands according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 28 August 1837

At Amsterdam was 24 August at the yard of shipbuilder H.J. Limborgh the stem set up of a second bark ship called Prins Hendrik destined for the Dutch East Indies trade. She was somehow what larger of the first at this yard build bark ship Provincie Groningen which was now completely rigged and ready for departure. The Prins Hendrik was mainly built for the same company with as board Kranenborg en Zonen at Amsterdam.
