The Egyptian, Greek and Turkish navies in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 20 November 1824

Odessa, 26 October. According to tidings dated Constantinople dated until 20 October was the Captain Pasha still missing. According to some rumours was he burned, according to others he committed suicide and others claimed that he arrived anonymously at Constantinople. The same night after two ships of his fleet entered the Dardanelles, namely between 7 and 8 October, seemed the remaining part of his fleet again being heavily attacked by the Greek fleet, just like the Egyptian fleet later.
