A Norwegian motor torpedo boat according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland: staat- en letterkundig nieuwsblad evening edition dated 9 May 1939
Just earlier the Netherlands, Sweden
and Greece ordered Norway the building of a fast motor torpedo boat
in England.
The Royal British Navy possessed 18 of these vessels divided over 3 flotillas.
The Norwegian boat had a length of 63’, was
fitted out with 2engines of 1.100 hip allowing a speed of more as 40 knots, a
crew numbering 8 men including 2 officers and was to be armed with 2-45cm
torpedo tubes and 2-20cm anti aircraft guns.
