23 November. A letter dated 25 October coming from Constantinople mentioned a
fight in the Gulf of Calofidhi, Morea (probably Galaxidi) which found place 7
October between the Greek and Turkish fleet. The first consisting of 60 vessels
was beaten, 36 were captured and the others destroyed.
