The arrival of the British queen at Vlissingen, Netherlands according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 18 August 1852

Flushing, 15 August. Yesterday evening around 18.00 o'clock in the so-called Pas van Terneuzen the Royal British steam yacht Victoria and Albert escorted by a flotilla of steam frigates and yachts, They anchored there until 12.00 o'clock 15 august while arriving around 13.00 o'clock at Flushing. The Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Prins van Oranje saluted the 9 steamboats. The queen returned 15.00 o'clock to the Pas while the other steamboats remained at Flushing.
