Frankfurt, 27 January. The
newspaper le Spectateur-Oriental of Smyrna
published a small item dated Constantinople 10
December 1825. According to this item arrived yesterday 8 Tartars with the
tiding that the Greek fleet attacked using 15 fire ships the Turkish fleet off
Missolunghi, but completely failed. Some Greek vessels were captured and others
shot down. The Captain Pasha was pursuing the Greek vanguard.
