Hamburg, 16 August. Letters from Bahia dated until 16 June reported that the Portuguese fleet entered the harbour and that the fleet commanded by Lord Cochrane was decreased and now consisted of a ship of the line and a frigate lacking enough sailors for more ships. Cochrane sailed towards the west ending the blockade of Bahia with the Portuguese fleet lying in comfortable in the harbour.
