British bark Sinope underway from England towards Belgium temporarily stranded off Vlissingen, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 17 March 1855

An item reported that the British bark Sinope captain Flatt coming from Portsmouth, England underway towards Antwerp, Belgium stranded that morning east of the Dokhaven of Vlissingen, Netherlands but was not damaged. She was loaded with linseed.
