Dutch frigate Zr. Ms. Euridice guard ship at Vlissingen, Netherlands during 1833/1834-1842

In December 1801 laid down by P. Glavimans at the navy yard at Rotterdam and launched on 21 April 1802. Dimensions 145’ x 40’ x 15‘ (probably the Amsterdam feet= 0,2831 metres. The armament consisted of 32. The Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 26 December 1833 published an item dated Vlissingen, Netherlands the 23rd reported that the Dutch corvette [error of the newspaper while she was a frigate!] Zr.Ms. Euridice lying as guard ship on the roads entered that day the Dokhaven, Vlissingen. The newspaper Goessche Courant dated 2 March 1835 reported that she was to commissioned on 1 April 1835 as guard ship at Vlissingen, Netherlands commanding officer captain F.G. Courier dit Dubikart to replace the Minerva.  The newspaper Vlissingse Courant dated 11 April 1843 reported that she was to be decommissioned and replaced as a guard ship [by the frigate Zr.Ms. Maas]. Since then she served as an accommodation. Sold on 12 November 1847 at Vlissingen for ƒ 21.100,00 to be broken up up.
