Austrian torpedo boat No. 11 handed over Italy according to the Dutch newspaper Vlisisngse Courant dated 2 January 1918
An item referred to the newspaper Gazette de Lausanne which reported the surrender of the Austrian torpedo boat No. 11 by her crew some time ago. The crew consisted for the major part of Italians and Czeches. The German engineer Alfred Stilgner at that moment on board wrote in a letter to his father that except for the two German and Austrian officers four German engineers were on board. The two officers were on the bridge attacked by the sailors and tightened. The engineers continued with their work without noticing what was going on until the moment that off Ancona they were taken prisoner and brought on board of an Italian warship.
