An item reported the sale on 12 September at Amsterdam, Netherlands of the Dutch bark ship Joan Melchior Kemper for ƒ 32.200. The newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 14 September reported that the sale was in the Nieuwe Stads-Herberg and that she was built in 1853. Captain was J.K. Salm.(1)
