Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij (N.H.M.) hired Dutch bark Cheribon as troop transport according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 15 January 1862

An item reported that the N.H.M. hired the Dutch ship Cheribon captain Coers to transport 150 military and 7 cabin passengers from the Netherlands towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies.(1)
