Dutch ship Fortuna entered damaged the Tafelbaai [Table Bay] according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 19 May 1860

An item dated Cape of Good Hope [South Africa] 18 February reported that the on 25 January the Dutch ship Fortuna captain De Ligny entered the Tafelbaai with a cracked mainmast and other damage. She was  underway from Rotterdam, Netherlands towards Padang, Dutch East Indies. Her capatin hoped to continue de voyage in March.
