British E.I.C. cruiser Penang arrived at Madras, British Indies according to the newspaper Java Government Gazette dated 1 July 1815

An item reported the arrival on 12 February at Madras, British Indies of the British E.I.C. cruiser Penang captain Joseph Mein coming with despatches from Penang, Malaysia where she left on 26th January.
