Dutch screw steamship 2nd class Zr.Mr. Groningen not worth to be repaired according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche courant dated 8 January 1863

An item reported that during the internal breaking up at the screw steamship Zr.Ms. Groningen such a large number of major defects were discovered that it was doubted ifs she was not totally condemned as a seagoing ship. She was launched in 1857 and returned in July 1862 from the Dutch East Indies. (1)
