British brig HMS Royalist visited the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Javasche courant dated 29 November 1843

An item reported the arrival at Timor Koepang, Dutch East Indies on 10th October of the British warship Royalist coming from Port Essington, Australia, lieutenant Wells. After loading some refreshments she departed on the 14th via Lombok, Dutch East Indies towards Surabaya, Dutch East Indies for some repairs.(1)

1. The brig (ex-Mary Gordon) which was acquired on 9 July 1841, since July 1856 lent as a hulk to the police and finally sold on 14 February 1895. With an armament of 6 guns.
