An item dated London, England 7^th reported the sinking of the barges A.G. Ropes and Undaunted 3 miles North of Barnegat, USA probably with all men on board. The not assured barges were towed by the tug Edgar F. Luchenback. The cargoes on board were assured for each 5.000 pond Stirling if there was anything loaded on board.
