Dutch tug Oostzee and sheerleg Montevideo 488 sunk by a German submarine 30 according to the Dutch newspaper De Tribune dated 26 July 1917

An item reported that in the afternoon a day earlier at 16.30 o’clock the Dutch tug Oostzee and the sheerleg Montevideo 488 were sunk by a German submarine 30 miles North West of the Nieuwe Waterweg, Netherlands. The Oostzee departed on Tuesday with her tow towards London, England. The crews were taken on board of the Dutch lugger SCH.126 and handed over to the Dutch tug Rozenburg off the Nieuwe Waterweg which brought them to Hoek van Holland, Netherlands.
