Laid down at the shipyard of Bath Iron Works Corporation, Bath, Maine on 19 February 1982, launched on 18 September 1982, commissioned on 20 August 1983 and decommissioned on 22 march 2013. Homeport Mayport, Florida, USA. Full load displacement 4.200 tons/4.100 long tons and as dimensions 138 (over all) x 14 x 6,7 metres or 453’x 45’x 22’. Her crew numbered 205 men. Her armament consisted of 1-7,6cm guns, 2x3032,4cm Mk launchers for Mark 46 torpedoes, 1x4-1,27cm Phalanx CIWS and 1 4single-arm Mk13 Mod Harpoon anti ship missiles launcher.
