An item dated 4th reported the passing of Nieuw Anjer [nowadays Anyer, Indonesia] by the Dutch bark François underway from Cardiff [Penarth], England towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies. She arrived there on the 5th, captain Zwaneveld, shipping agents Borneo Company Limited.(1)
