British transports with horse artillery arrived at Oostende, Belgium according to the Dutch newspaper Ommelander courant dated 31 May 1793
An item dated Oostende, Belgium 19th
reported the arrival a day earlier of 14 British transports all 2- and 3 mast
ships loaded with 69 horses, 176 wagons, 24-24/36pd guns, a large number of
field 4/6 pd guns, 250 gunners and 150 grooms.
