French dredger Marsa built at Schiedam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Schiedamsche Courant dated 5 October 1907

An item reported the launching at the shipyard Gusto (firm A.F. Smulders), Schiedam, Netherlands that same day of the steel made hull for a dredger with press pump built for account of the French government. Electrically lightened, fitted out with 2 compound steam engines and a huge boiler and the necessary steam winches.(1)
