Movements of British warships on the North Sea and off the Dutch coast according to the Dutch newspaper Bredasche courant dated 9 November 1831

An item dated London, England the 3rd reported the arrival at Deal, England on the 1st post time of the British HMS Imogene (1) and the corvette HMS Tweed (2) belonging to the North Sea squadron and on the 2nd the frigates HMS Curacao (3), Galatea (4), Tribune (5) and Stag (6) and the gun brig HMS Brisk.(7) The British naval force off the Dutch coast was harassed by a heavy gale and misty weather and rear admiral Warren was forced to signal all ships to search for a safe place and to gather off Downs. The 3 ships of the line and the remaining ships of the squadron were anchored off the Galloper fire. The gun brig of 10 guns HMS Onyx (8) was with orders sent to the rear admiral.

6. 5th Rate, launched at Pembroke, England on 2 October 1830, on 8 August 1866 was her breaking up at Marshall, Plymouth, England completed, with an armament of 46 guns.
7. Brig sloop of the Cherokee-class launched at the Chatham Dockyard on 10 February 1819 and finally sold on 7 November 1843 to J. Levy, Rochester, England with an armament of 10 guns.
8. Brig sloop of the Cherokee-class launched at Chatham Dockyard on 24 January 1822 and finally sold in February 1837 to J. Pittman to be broken up, with an armament of 10 guns.
