An item dated Paris, France 24th August referred to the Excelsior received the tiding that near Bazia alongside the Danube beneath Belgrado an Austrian monitor strike a mine and that her whole crew was killed.(1)

1. In October confirmed the Austrian general staff of the monitor Temse after striking a mine, but in her case was not the entirely crew killed. Same ship as the reported by the Excelsior?
