Russian galley and imperial yacht Tver 1765


A 12-bank galley used by the Russian empress Catherina II when she cruised on the Volga river. The building by Mikhail Shchepin at the Tverskaya Shipyard, Kazan, Russia was ordered on 6 December 1765 and launched on 3 April 1767. Her commanding officer was Petr Ivanovich Pushchin. The armament consisted of just salute guns/ Dimensions 39,0 x 7,65 metres.
