British mine service according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1937 no. 4

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht dated 17 April 1937 reporting that the Royal British Navy for the first time since 1931 was building minesweepers. The Halcyon-class had a displacement of 875 tons, a maximum draught of 2,20 metres, a horsepower of 1.770hp allowing a speed of 16.5 knots and an armament consisting of 2-10,2cm guns and 9 anti aircraft machineguns.
