British ship Orpheus underway from England towards the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 12 November 1888

An item dated 9th reported the passing of Nieuw Anjer [nowadays Anyer, Indonesia] by the British ship Orpheus loaded with coals underway from Cardiff/Penarth, England towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies. Arrived there the next day, captain Young, shipping agents Scheepsagentuur voorheen J. Daendels&Co.
