An item referred to the magazine Engineering reporting that the British destroyer Hart executed her 3 hours full speed trial at Portsmouth, England. With a steam pressure in the boilers of 196 lbs, an air pressure of 2”.75 developed her engines 4.143 ihp achieved she a speed of 27,075 miles. Coal consumption in a hour per hp was 3,2 lbs.
