British destroyer HMS Hart executed with succes her trials according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1895-1896 no. 11

An item referred to the magazine Engineering reporting that the British destroyer Hart executed her 3 hours full speed trial at Portsmouth, England. With a steam pressure in the boilers of 196 lbs, an air pressure of 2”.75 developed her engines 4.143 ihp achieved she a speed of 27,075 miles. Coal consumption in a hour per hp was 3,2 lbs. Draught 5’0”.5 (fore)-7‘6“.75 (aft).(1)

1. Of the Handy-class destroyers, launched at Fairfield, Govan, Scotland on 27 March 1895 and sold to be broken up in 1912.
