First dredger for the Buenos Ayres Pacific Railway Company Ltd. launched at Schiedam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Schiedamsche Courant dated 20 December 1905

An item reported that the same morning around 10.30 o’clock at the shipyard Gusto (firm A.F. Smulders), Schiedam, Netherlands a sand suction dredger built for account of the Buenos Ayres Pacific Railway Company Ltd. was launched. To make the launching possible had the buoy along which the steamship Olanda was berthed to be replaced by the small tug Mentor.
