An item dated Berlin, Germany 12th reported that the negotiations between the British naval commission at Wilhelmshaven, Germany and the German government made clear that the British refused to discuss any possible relief of the armistice conditions. Earlier accepted the British representatives at Spa, Belgium that the armoured cruiser Mackensen (1) was not to be handed over by Germany. The Germans made the commission that the ship could not be transported within the next four months but the British admiral stated that if she was not hand over before the end of the same month he would report his cabinet that the armistice conditions were neglected.
