An item reported that the engines and boiler of the Turkish transport Rehber-I-Tewfik was to be removed and used for the transport Medar-I-Tewfik. The Rehber-I-Tewfik would become a training ship for torpedo officers replacing the frigate Muchbir-I-Surur.
