Japanese navy seized German blockade runner Veteran according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 23 November 1904

An item dated Singapore 23rd reported that the German steamship Veteran (ex-Thales) was captured by the Japanese when she trued to run the blockade of Port Arthur. China.(1)
