Tug hired by Dutch government for transport of ox and meat in the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch handelsblad dated 3 January 1872

An item dated Bandjermasin, Dutch East Indies 21st reported that the tug serving between Surabaya and Bandjermasin arriving on the 20th was hired by the contractors for the delivery of fresh meat and ox for the Dutch troops in the South East department of Borneo Dutch East Indies to transport some ox. Underway was she harassed by stormy weather and high seas causing the death of 20 ox which were thrown over board. Of another 8 were legs broken while the remaining others ox were in such a worse condition that already some died.
