French refugees returning with French and Dutch ships back to France according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 2 January 1919

An item reported that the same morning at 08:00 o’clock the French auxiliary cruiser Lutetia now fitted out as transport left Rotterdam, Netherlands towards Le Havre, France with 2.400 French refugees on board. Instead of Dieppe, France were refugees now to be brought to Le Havre and Dunkirk. The Dutch steamship Macedona and the French troop transport Sobral were just like the Dutch ships Lingestroom, Texelstroom and the Batavier III, IV and VI to be used on the shipping line. The Batavier V transported refugees from Vlissingen, Netherlands towards Durkirk, France.
