Skoda 34,3cm guns for Austro-Hungarian Ersatz Monarch-class battleships according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1912-1913 no. 4

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht dated 11 May 1912 reporting that the Skoda plant at Pilsen produced 34,3cm guns to be mounted on the newest battleships of the Austrian navy since the Viribus Unitis-class.(1) The new gun had a similar calibre as the British naval guns produced by the British firms Armstrong and Vickers.

1. The planned Ersatz Monarch-class battleships called VII-XI with a displacement of 24.560 tonnes and a main armament of 10-35,cn/14” L/45 guns which was never built.
