An item referred to the magazine R.U.S.I. dated November 1938 reporting that the British motor torpedo boat (MTB) No. 7 was commissioned on 31 August 1938 and added to the Vernon.(1) At that moment were 13 motor torpedo boats commissioned, 6 serving in the Mediterranean and 6 in the Chinese waters.
