An item reported the launching on 25 May of the Polish steam tug Konrad by Shipyard Vooruitgang of D. and Joh. Boot, Alphen a.d. Rijn, Netherlands. Baptized by a daughter of one of the board members of the yard. Dimensions 25,20 (between perpendiculars) x 6,80 x 3,80 (hold) metres. Fitted out with a 435hp double compound steam engine and a Scottish boiler with a heating surface of 135 square metres.
