The Greek naval program according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1914 No. 5

The Salamis

An item reported that with agreement of all involved parties the Greek minister of navy sent a shipbuilding program to the parliament which would if executed increase the Greek naval strength on a huge scale. Except for a number of smaller units were 3 dreadnoughts (including the one under construction at the German Vulkanwerft=Salamis) and 3 armoured cruisers wanted.(1)

1. Sometimes also called Vasilefs Georgias, building ordered in 1912, laid down by AG Vulkan, Hamburg, Germany on 23 July 1913, launched on 11 November 1914, never completed and broken up in 1932.
