An announcement reported the intended public sale by shipbroker Jacq. Pierot on behalf of the owners in the second half of December 1922 of the Dutch steam Rhine tug Jan van Steen No. 6, horsepower 550 ihp, dimensions 31,75 x 6,55 x 2,50 metres with an engine dating from 1911 and boiler dating from 1902. Another newspaper De Maasbode dated 15 December reported that the auction was on Tuesday 16th 14.30 o’clock in the Veiligzaal, Groote Koopmansbeurs, Rotterdam, Netherlands.
