Laid down by Schichau-Werke, Danzig, Germany with yard number 486 on 28 March 1892, launched on 31 May 1893, completed on 27 June 1894, modernized between 1901-1904m accommodation ship since 1916, stricken on 5 November 1919, rebuilt as the merchant cargo ship Adolf Sommerfeld in 1920 but already broken up in 1923 while the rebuilding was unsuccessful.
