Building ordered in 1859, laid down at the navy arsenal at Rochefort, France on 1 June 1860, launched on 16 April 1863, stricken on 2 February 1872., commissioned as an automotive water tanker on 1 January 1873 serving in the harbour of Rochefort, transferred to Toulon in 1927 and used as a water tanker for the 1st and 3rd squadrons, decommissioned on 25 December 1935 and sold to M. Negal on 26 May 1937. Displacement 381 tons and as dimensions 45 x 3,7 metres or 146 x 12 feet. Fitted out with 1 compressed air engine replaced in 1898. Speed 4 knots and a range of 5 nautical miles. Her test diving depth was 10 metres. Crew numbered 2 men. Armed with a spar torpedo and a ram.
