Catch results of German Greenland seal hunters whalers according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 2 July 1763

An item dated Hamburg, Netherlands 28 June reported the arrival on the Elbe or at Hamburg of the commandeurs M. Jansen 186, Th. Swen 140 and Matth. Swen 120 quardelen seal blubber returning from Greenland. Jansen left the ice on 5 June on 57 degrees. He saw none whalers. At his departure was the icefield very broad.
