Catch results of the German Greenland seal hunters and whalers according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 3 August 1771

An item reported the arrival at Hamburg, Germany of Pet. Theunis 3 whales 85 quardelen, P. Swen 1 whale 45 quardelen 61 quardelen seal blubber and R. Wilkes 30 quardelen seal blubber all returning from Greenland. They added to the already known list that N. Adriaansz caught 3 whales, C.H. Broertjes 2, R.G. Meyer and J.H. Jonker each 1 and J.A. Ooms was empty. Most of the Dutch Davis Strait whalers were at Greenland including Jan P. Hoen and L.B. Molenaar.
