An item reported that the at Peterhead, Scotland fitted out steam whaler Eclipse with a cargo capacity of 295 tons had in 1873 as catch results while active in Greenland 7.660 seals, 2 whales, 2.030 hectolitres seal oil, 185 hectolitres whale oil, total 2.215 litres oil and zero kilo whalebone.
