American whaling ship Lowell visited Lahaina, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 27 March 1847

An item reported the arrival at Lahaina, Hawaii on 16 March by the American whaling ship Lowell master Benjamin of New London 21 months out 2.700 barrels whale oil 180 this season.
