French battleship Flandre launched according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1914-1915 no.5

An item reported that on 20 October at Brest, France the French battleship Flandre of the Normandie-class was launched armed with 3x4-34cm guns. She was the first of her class.(1)

1. Normandie-class existed of the Normandie, Flandre, Gascogne, Languedoc and Béarn, preceded by the Bretagne-class and succeeded by the planned but not realized Lyon-class and realized Dunkerque-class. Laid down by Arsenal de Brest, Brest, France on 1 October 1913, launched on 20 October 1914, never completed and broken up in October 1924.
