Crew members of whaling barque Runnymede refusing work according to the The Hobart Town Advertiser dated 5 August 1865

An item reported that crew members of the whaling barque Runnymede Charles Ibbotson and George were charged by captain James Bayley when refusing work when she was lying in Spring Bay. After pleading guilty both men were sentenced to three months in prison. Two other crew members William Dove and William Paxton were sentenced to 4 weeks in prison when while refusing to obey commands of the same master when she was lying at Hobart Town.
