American merchant tanker design T3-S-A1 in 1946

Steel built with raked stem and cruiser stern. Capacity 134,000 barrels.  Dimensions 501.8 (over all) x 68.0 (molded) x 37.0 (molded depth) x 29.11 (load draught molded) feet, deadweight 16,500 tons, gross tonnage 9.900 tons and net tonnage 5,900 tons. The turbines propulsion was located aft supplying 7,000 shp normal horse power allowing a speed of 15.5 knots. Prewar domestic cost 2,175,000 US dollars domestic war cost 2,970,029 US dollars, unadjusted statutory sales price 1,203,125 US dollars and floor price 1,485,015 US dollars
