British screw steam gunboat HMS Dwarf stationed in Africa according to the Weekly Intelligence Summary No. 43 dated 29 October 1921


An item reported that the British screw steam gunboat HMS Dwarf (1)would visit Lagos, Nigeria between 3-9 November, Calabar, Nigeria 18-24 November, Victoria, Cameroon 25 November-9 December, Fernando Po (island off West African coast, nowadays called Bioko, Equatorial Guinea) 10-15 December returning at Lagos on 18 December.

Note

1. Bramble-1st class gunboat, preceded by Redbreast-class, laid down by London&Glasgow, Govan, Scotland on 2 December 1897, launched on 15 November 1898, commissioned on 31 august 1899, paid of around 1925 and sold to be broken up in 1926.
